Resume
Paige Poe is a Houston based poet, wordsmith, certified yoga teacher, and creative movement teacher. She graduated from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor’s in theatre and English in 2018. Her poetry has been published or is forthcoming in eleven40seven, Vamp Cat Mag, Brave Voices Magazine, and the anthology Texas’ Best Emerging Poets of 2017. She strongly believes in intersectional feminism, equal rights for all peoples, environmental justice, and the healing power of art. As a wordsmith-for-hire, Paige has worked with churches, schools, businesses, and individuals to create excellent content in a variety of forms. From Instagram posts to novels, Paige can handle it all. She collaborated with The Rev. Charlie Holt to create a devotional on the book of Hebrews, worked with a team at St. John the Divine to create a textbook for a class on the New Testament, and edited a full length biography for a major agricultural corporation. Currently, Paige is writing poetry, teaching yoga and creative movement, and running an Instagram account for Casa De Novia Bridal. Her movement practices keep her grounded and spiritually in tune. She is always looking for new opportunities in her community. With a number of projects in the works, who knows what she will do next!
